S'Abba e sa Pedra was born in the 80s from an idea of Umberto Savoia, a Turin businessman, who enchanted by the beauty of the place, decided to buy a piece of land on a promontory called "Punta Generosu”, to create a village in the style of "Costa Smeralda”. For this, he hired the well-known architect Gianni Gamondi, already known in Sardinia for having dedicated himself to the construction of important works, among the most significant are the complexes of Porto Rotondo, in addition to those of Porto San Paolo, Coda Cavallo and Puntaldia.
Umberto Savoia's dream, after his premature death in 1991, was carried on by his family who, with the assistance of a Sardinian construction company, continued the project. It was during this time of work that the friendship between Rosy Savoia and Monica, who at the time was working for the said company, was born.
They began to build the village of S'Abba e sa Pedra, translated from Sardinian as "water and stone", which thanks to its unique location on the Gulf of Olbia, became a reference point for families from all over Italy and abroad, in love with the beauty of this corner of Sardinia.
Today, as yesterday, Rosy and Monica's work continues, with the management of the reception of S'Abba e sa Pedra, which is at your disposal to help you choose your home and make your experience in Sardinia unique.
